POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

Prepare, coordinate and manage the Engineering projects and contracts according to engineering standards, quality and in a cost effective manner as well as operational efficiency.
 

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• Responsible to all works relating to pre contract administration undertaken.
• Gather, prepare and manage requirements for each projects and contracts by communicate effectively with budget owner and stakeholders.
• Assist to prepare timely and accurate tender proposal that includes scope and cost details for the project of the Engineering MA(S) and MASB systems and facilities
• Responsible for the overall management of the project management scope, including communication and collaboration with Budget Owners, Stakeholders and external partner within the project context.
• Keep abreast of new technology in order to properly plan for future project and contracts of engineering system and facilities.
• Assist on the special projects in order to ensure the assigned airport system and facilities requirements are properly addressed.
• To coordinate and ensure all infrastructural works carried out and material used are strictly in accordance to specification and required standard.
• Adhere with Company’s policies; procedures; guidelines; local/international regulations and legislations; quality management system; project & contracts managements; IMS Intergrated and any other certifications.
• Plan and monitor the yearly budget (OPEX and CAPEX) relating to projects and contract renewal with Budget Owner.
• Provides supports to the project teams by identifying proactive measures for further potential in all aspects in the assigned projects and recommends for continuous improvement action.
• Monitor and keep track on the project and contract progress.
• To perform other works in relation with projects and contracts as directed by immediate superior.

Key Challenges

• Monitor and execution of project & contracts related plan and activities.
• Optimization of project monitoring program.
• Enforcement on the utilization of IT tools i.e SAP, MS Project
• Respond to client/ stakeholder complaint.

• Knowledge in project management, contract management, quality management system & SAP
• Good writing, communication and interpersonal skills
• Results-driven and resourceful
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Self starter and conscious decision making

Relevant Industries

EXTERNAL

• Registered with Board of Engineers of Malaysia 

• Degree holder with minimum CGPA 3.0 and minimum 1 year relevant experience.

Education

•  Bachelor Degree Electrical / Electronic / Civil / Mechanical Engineering
