Job Description

POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

• To ensure smooth and efficient operations of overall MTB, CP and SAT building during shift operation working hours.
• To act on behalf of Terminal Manager during non-office hour and to liaise closely with Terminal Manager on any crisis/emergency cases.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• To lead the overall operations of MTB, CP, and SAT Building.
• To coordinate with related agencies/units and ensure smooth flow of passengers.
• To ensure all facilities are serviceable and well maintained.
• To liaise with other agencies for any event/crisis/emergencies.
• To supervise the performance of Terminal Operations staff which are under his/her jurisdictions.
• To liaise with AODM on the overall status of the terminal.
• To compile reports on operation and facilities.
• To ensure the smooth flow of VVIP/VIP movement and provide assistance whichever is necessary.
• To attend the meeting on behalf of Terminal Manager during his absence.
• To monitor and manage the performance of the service contractors at the terminal and ensure they comply as per contract agreement.
• To handle complaints or feedback in a professional manner.
• To ensure Terminal Services files and documents comply with IMS requirements.
• To perform any other duty as assigned.

Skills

• Good interpersonal and coordination skills
• Ability to interact with all level and able to work in a group or individually.
• Well establish in management, coordination and communication skills.
• Good knowledge in Worldwide Scheduling Guidelines, Standard Schedules Information Manual (SSIM) Chapter 6.
• Familiar with Annexes /other airport regulations.
• Establish and review the Standard Operating Procedures and working manual/instruction.

Relevant Industries

Internal

• Degree with  minimum 2 years relevant experience in Executive role
• Diploma with minimum 3 years relevant experience in Executive role
• STPM with minimum 5 years relevant experience in Executive role
• SPM with minimum 7 years relevant experience in Executive role
• Must achieve and maintain the following performance rating for two (2) consecutive years of at least Exceptional / A or Outstanding / B; and Minimum Meet Expectations / C
• The employee must not be subjected to disciplinary punishments except for disciplinary counselling, caution, reminder & warning for the past 36 consecutive months immediately preceding the promotion

External

• Degree with CGPA > 3.0 and minimum 3 year relevant experience.

Education

Internal

• Degree/Diploma/Certificate preferably in Airport Management / Transportation
• STPM
• SPM with Credit in Bahasa Malaysia and Pass in English and Mathematics

External

• Degree preferably in  Airport Management / Transportation
