Job Description

POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

Responsible on the operation and maintenance of the PBB System and ensure the maintenance done are according to the specified standards and quality.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

Inspect and carry out maintenance works according the instruction and standard given.
Assist the Technical Officer in the planning, managing and up-dating the maintenance and repair standard manuals and supervision of the work done by the contractor.
Assist technical assistant for the corrective maintenance and improvement projects for passenger loading bridges(PLB), visual docking guidance system(VDGS), pre conditioned air (PCA)and ground power unit (GPU).
Carry out all modification / improvement work timely and effectively.
Provide feedback to technical assistant on upgrading and modification works required.
Provide information to technical assistant on the performance of facilities recommendation to solve problem.
Carry out all work according to procedures in ISO documentation.
Utilize of SAP system for maintenance.
Provide information to technical assistant on purchasing of spare parts, other consumable item and tools required to perform maintenance.
To follow instructions from superior from time to time

Qualifications & Experience

Fresh Graduates with a Diploma in Mechatronics / Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic / Technical Engineering are encouraged to apply.

POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

Assisting BO Chargeman ( For airport with HV) in term of responsibility to the overall electrical installation in term of how it being manned ; handled
and controlled. Responsible for the overall electrical installation (under BO Chargeman for airport with HV) in term of work and job handling by giving
writing instruction to person/workers under his control.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

Managing site operations of electrical equipment or systems as specification (LV System) with or without standby generator.
To carry out repair and maintenance job related to voltage electrical installation and testing; also executing maintenance and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
Planning on tools and equipment needed to perform a job and equipment or systems rectification as per standard requirement.
Responsible for the installation of equipment; machines; wiring; or programs to meet specifications and to assist Technician during inspection and repair of underground cable.
Investigation and identifying essential information before adjusting actions in relation to others' actions.
Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents and correctly follow or direct a given rules in order to arrange things or actions in a certain order. The things or actions can include numbers; letters; words; pictures; procedures and requisitions for any electrical operations and maintenance.
Under certain condition; competence control shall be practices to other identified electrical personnel with clear writing instruction and job task that is within his knowledge and responsibility.
To carry out preventive maintenance inspection for AGL; HT and LV systems

Key Challenges

To make sure compliance with the standard and regulatory requirement.
Execution of tests to determine whether equipment, software, or procedures are operating as expected.
Propose problems solving and involvement in preparation of the incident report.

Skills

Hands-on skills in maintenance and operation of electrical installation and other airport Facilities
Possess updated knowledge in the latest technology and airport facilities
Experience in operations and maintenance of High Tension (HT) and Low Voltage (LV)
Working knowledge in Electrical Safety Regulation and Electrical Supply Act 1990

Keep abreast of new technology in order to properly plan for future enhancement and efficiency improvement of the assigned airport system and facilities.
Assist on the special project in order to ensure the assigned airport system and facilities requirements are properly addressed.

Repairs to AGL hardware such as light fittings and standby generators
Maintenance and servicing of emergency lights throughout the airport
Portable Appliance Testing of electrical equipment
Maintenance of electrical installations within airport buildings
Maintenance of technical records in accordance with regulatory requirements
Management of critical spares and storage
Calibration of test and measuring equipment
Following procedures in accordance with local and regulatory documents
Airside driving and maintaining a valid Airfield Driving Permit
Visual driving inspection of AGL systems on the airfield and beyond
Coordination with vehicle maintenance teams to ensure operational readiness
Conducting regular vehicle inspections and ensuring compliance with safety standards
