Dato’ Seri Diraja Dr Zambry Abd Kadir (Chairman)

Dato’ Seri Diraja Dr Zambry Abd Kadir was appointed as the Non-Independent Non-Executive Chairman of MAHB on 12 August 2020. Dato’ Seri Diraja Dr Zambry possesses a wide and varied working experience which among others include serving as Adjunct Professor at Universiti Sultan Azlan Shah (USAS), Professor in Practice at Putra Business School, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Adjunct Professor at the Department of Political Science, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), CEO of Mind  Institute, as well as CEO of Centre for Leadership and Development Studies. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Masters degrees from Temple University, USA, as well as Masters degree and Bachelor of Economic (Hons) degree from IIUM. He has also attended the prestigious Harvard Leadership Program at the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.

Dato’ Mohd Shukrie Mohd Salleh (Group Chief Executive Officer)

Dato’ Shukrie is a Chartered Accountant with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and holds a Degree in Business Studies from the University of North London.

He started his career with Public Bank Securities Sdn. Bhd. and thereafter served with United Overseas Bank Berhad. He has amassed a diverse experience throughout his career covering the consumer and corporate banking, corporate finance and advisory, mergers and acquisitions, financial services, risk management, human resources, and procurement.

In 2005, he joined DRB-HICOM Berhad and began an illustrated journey where he assumed several leadership roles including that of a Principal Controller, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Executive Officer in various entities within the DRB-HICOM Group including being entrusted as the Chief Executive Officer of KL Airport Services Sdn. Bhd., the aircraft ground handling, cargo, and logistics arm of DRB-HICOM Group. On 1 July 2011, he was appointed as Group Chief Operating Officer of Pos Malaysia Berhad and later joined Konsortium Logistik Berhad in 2013 as Group Chief Executive Officer before moving back to helm Pos Malaysia Berhad as its Group Chief Executive Officer on November 2015.

Prior to his appointment as Chief Operating Officer of Malaysia Airports in May 2019, and subsequently, as the Acting Group Chief Executive Officer, Dato’ Shukrie was entrusted to lead AirAsia’s Redbox Logistics as its Chief Executive Officer and later on as the Chief Operating Officer for AirAsia Malaysia.

With his vast experience and knowledge, it is Malaysia Airports’ privileged to have Dato’ Shukrie on board.

Mohamed Bin Rastam Shahrom (Group Chief Financial Officer)

Mohamed Bin Rastam Shahrom is the Chief Financial Officer on 1st January 2020. Mohamed has over 20 years of experience in the field of finance, investment appraisal, fundraising, financial analysis and planning, finance operations, international JVs and statutory reporting. Prior to joining Malaysia Airports, Mohamed was the Chief Financial Officer of UEM Sunrise. Mohamed holds a BSc (Honours) in Accounting and Finance from University of Wales, Aberystwyth, UK. He is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
