Tan Sri Datuk Zainun Ali (Chairman)

Tan Sri Datuk Zainun Ali was appointed as Malaysia Airports’ Non-Independent Non-Executive Chairman on 17 February 2023. She previously served the same role from 18 January 2019 to 11 August 2020.

Prior to venturing into the corporate world, Tan Sri Datuk Zainun amassed an extensive experience in the judiciary field through her involvement as a member of the Malaysian Judiciary, retiring as a Federal Court Judge in 2018. Her stellar career on the Bench saw her handing down several landmark judgments which have impacted Malaysian jurisprudence.

She holds a Masters in Law Degree from the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom.

At present, Tan Sri Datuk Zainun Ali is a Director of Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB), a Director with Allianz Malaysia Berhad (AMB) and a Consultant in the legal firm of Zain & Co .

She also sits as a judge in the Administrative Tribunal of the Islamic Development Bank of Jeddah and is a registered arbitrator at the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC). Tan Sri Datuk Zainun also sits on the Advisory Board of the United Nations (UN) Global Judicial Integrity Network, and is the Deputy Chairman of the Enforcement Agency Integrity Commission (EAIC).

Mohamed Bin Rastam Shahrom (Acting Group Chief Executive Officer)

Encik Mohamed bin Rastam Shahrom is the Acting Group Chief Executive Officer effective from 25 October 2023. Encik Mohamed has over 20 years of experience in the field of finance, investment appraisal, fundraising, financial analysis and planning, finance operations, international JVs and statutory reporting. Prior to joining Malaysia Airports, Encik Mohamed was the Chief Financial Officer of UEM Sunrise. Encik Mohamed holds a BSc (Honours) in Accounting and Finance from University of Wales, Aberystwyth, UK. He is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
