Job Description

POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY 

Plan and control the overall project milestones, factoring suitability and detailed aspects, prepare cost estimates and cost control along project timelines

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• Preparation of Master Implementation Program (MIP) to ensure suitability and to incorporate critical dates for decision making
• Prepare and maintain detailed engineering and construction schedules including development of critical path and project float
• Partner with project personnel to establish the plan and document the scope, develop project schedules or capital cost estimates
• Maintain liaison with management regarding project planning by conducting analysis and preparing report.
• Monitor hours and costs to determine trends and to assist in forecasting. Evaluate scope changes, cost trends, additional work orders and other elements
• Ensure the maintenance of all essential documentation for project planning report. May make periodic visits to review progress reporting
• Review of Contractors' proposal on Overall Works Program (OWP) to ensure suitability with MIP
• Overall planning, reviewing, monitoring, reporting on all the Consultant's and Contractor's planning and implementation strategies including the interfaced activities

Key Challenges

• Preparing a realistic plan and ensuring tight cost control amidst challenges and scope changes posed along the project progress

Skills

Strong general financial and technological background

Relevant Industries

Degree with minimum 5 years relevant experience.

Education

• Degree in Engineering/Architecture/Quantity Surveyor/Building/Construction Management with experience in project management preferably in construction industries or airport management        

Unique Requirement

Exposure in projects with big construction scale and complexities
