POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

Execute the maintenance works as per maintenance plan as well as to supervise the maintenance works so as to achieve the specified maintenance standards; best practices and quality and to ensure the serviceability and reliability of facilities as well as operational efficiency and cost optimization.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• Ensure the execution of maintenance works as per maintenance plan
• Ensure high standard/quality of maintenance work accordance to best practices so as to ensure serviceability; reliability of facilities and cost optimization
• Assist in analyzing  system performance ; identifies trends for the facilities and equipment breakdowns and recommends for continuous improvement action
• Assist in analyzing cost implications of the operations; maintenance and repair activities and recommend for budgetary
• Manage and monitoring the performance of the contractor in executing the maintenance works
• Assist in preparation of specification; compiling of information etc for the establishing of contract; repair work and development work

Key Challenges

• Knowledgeable in basic Contract Management
• Keeps abreast with the latest technology and best practices in the industries

Skills

• Hands-on skills in maintenance and operational of airport facilities (Electrical)
• Working knowledge of contract management
• Working knowledge in managing multiple vendors and contractors
• Knowledge in SAP system would be an added advantage

Relevant Industries

External        

• Diploma of Engineering/Technical with a minimum 1 year of relevant working experience or;
• SPM/SPMV or STPM with SKM (level III in Engineering/Technical) or Engineering/Technical certificate recognized by JPA/MQA with a minimum of 3 years relevant working experience or
• SPM/SPMV or STPM with SKM(level II in Engineering/Technical) with a minimum of 5 years relevant working experience or
• SPM or SPMV with minimum of 7 years relevant working experience in related field

Education

• Diploma Engineering/Technical or;
• SPM/SPMV or STPM with SKM or;
• SPM or SPMV
