POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

To Conduct Incidents Investigation in Airside &
to assist Head of Unit/Senior Executives in daily Task

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• Ensure that all accident and incident reports are properly filled by Duty Shift Safety Officers.
• To organize and conduct an Accident investigation in accordance to SOPs. Accident and Incident refers to vehicles, aircraft and facilities.
• To brief all investigation Committee members of the accident in a systematic and chronological order. The Chairman of the Investigation Committee shall present the facts in an impartial manner.
• To set up Investigation Committee team so as to interview the parties involved.
• Appointed  from Investigation Committee as secretary to record the process of the investigation.
• Conclusion, verdict and duration of suspension given after deliberation among the committee members.
• To collect, collate and process all accident /incident information for investigation and statistics purposes.
• Prepare accident/incident statistics for KLIA (Airside Safety Division) in a detail formats exhibiting the highlight of the charts.
• Ensure a proper filing that could be access by all Safety Officer and Duty Executives in the Accident / Incident Management Filing System.
• To perform any instructions as instructed by Executive or Manager

Relevant Industries

• Diploma holder with minimum of 3 years working experience.

Unique Requirement

• Computer literate
• Proficiency  in English and Bahasa Malaysia

Education

• Diploma in any Disipline
