Job Description

 

POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

 

  • To ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the respective area and to ensure that all facilities are serviceable and well-maintained. To perform administrative work as required.

 

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

 

  • To attend briefings.
  • To inspect and ensure all facilities at the workplace are serviceable. To report immediately to the Supervisor regarding faulty equipment and record details in the logbook.
  • Carry out regular inspections on all airport facilities in the Contact Pier and report back to the DE/Terminal Manager.
  • Monitor day-to-day activities in the Terminal Building, such as filming, promotions, etc.
  • Monitor the movement of VVIPs to ensure smooth flow and to assist when necessary.
  • Monitor the performance of the contractors and report back to the Terminal Manager on any irregularities found.
  • To assist customers who need assistance.
  • To coordinate with AOCC on the overall status of the airport.
  • To follow the directives from the Terminal Manager on administration and operational matters from time to time.

Relevant Industries

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma Holder with 2–3 years of experience in Aviation/Airport Operation Management, Hospitality/Hotel Management, Facility Management, or Business Administration are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Fresh graduates with a strong desire to learn and a relevant Diploma are also highly encouraged to apply.

 

Additional Criteria

  • Linguistic Proficiency: Excellent communication skills with fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to converse in additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Arabic, Tamil) is advantageous.
  • Physical Fitness & Image: Candidates must be physically fit with high stamina to navigate the terminal effectively. To maintain professional grooming standards, a BMI of 30 or below is required.
  • Service Disposition: Highly passionate and proactive in delivering exceptional customer service.

Education

  • Diploma in any discipline; however, specialization in Aviation/Airport Operation Management, Hospitality/Hotel Management, Facility Management, or Business Administration is highly preferred.
  • Grade Requirement: Minimum CGPA of 2.80 or equivalent.
