Job Description

POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

• Deliver data-driven analysis and planning outputs that support Ops Planning & Analytics (OPPA's) capacity planning and analytical reporting functions, enabling evidence-based operational decisions across KLIA.        

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• Collect, clean, and maintain operational datasets from relevant airport systems (e.g. flight schedules, pax throughput, check-in utilisation, effective productivity of capacity & allocation, given manpower).
• Build and maintain capacity vs. demand models at the required time-interval granularity (e.g. 15-minute intervals for key touch points).
• Support lead in managing ad-hoc request to support organisation objective on KORE to delivery service, growth and capacity. 
• Produce regular analysis and dashboards tracking KPIs against targets.
• Analyse trend data and flag anomalies or performance gaps to Manager, OPPA.
• Assist in preparation of management presentations, briefing decks, and SLT reporting materials.
• Coordinate with operations teams and relevant key stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and timely access.
• Support benchmarking data collection and analysis for operational best practices.
• Document analytical methodologies, data dictionaries, and model assumptions for knowledge management.

Key Challenges

• Accessing clean, consistent data from multiple systems with varying maturity levels.
• Translating raw operational data into insights that are both accurate and easy to act on.
• Managing multiple deliverable timelines in a fast-paced, build-phase unit.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, Operations Management, Economics, or equivalent.
• Experience in the Airport or Industrial Logistics sector will be an added advantage.
• Minimum CGPA requirement: 3.00.

Unique Requirement

• Proficiency in SQL, Python - Basic Modeling, Power BI/Tableau for Visualisation or equivalent as basic hardfloors, familiarity with data pipeline tools is an advantage  

Relevant Industries

External
• Degree holder with minimum CGPA 3.0 and minimum 1 year relevant experience.
