Job Description


  • Assist Corporate Finance Managers to assess and prepare funding proposal/project evaluation appraisal in line with the Group's strategy and business requirements. 
  • Assist in evaluating funding requirements of the Group to ensure the Group achieves an optimum capital structure. 


  • Assist in performing complex business and financial analysis line with Group objectives
  • Assist in procurement of funds exercise due diligence documentation, hedging proposal analysis and financial risk management/compliance work.
  • Work closely with the divisional team to develop or recommend funding strategies to support the Group business plan, new investments, and airport expansion requirement
  • Coordinate across business divisions to ensure timely reporting compliance for loan review and other statutory requirements and filing
  • Support monthly actual cash flow updates, projections and financial modelling simulation, scenario testing to assist in cash visibility. funding assessment and requirement of the Group and subsidiaries.
  • Maintain proper record on all Sukuk, credit facilities utilization and availability across the Group.
  • Support the Corporate Finance Managers on continuous improvement to drive efficiency and effectiveness in reporting, analyse businesses results/trends and identify relevant performance measurement indicators for liquidity management and optimum capital structure.
  • Keeping abreast of new developments and trends on the airport development and business funding model, and make recommendations for improvements to the Group
  • Provide financial modelling and financial analysis support on ad-hoc projects and transactions of the Group.
  • Liaising with Group companies, bankers and other parties on various corporate finance matters.
  • Analyzes financial records/information to ensure accurate information provided by multi business divisions on historical financial performance and forecast prior to reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist to review bank charges, interest quotes for facilities to ensure the best quote offered by banks prior to periodic drawdown and rates review/consensus to support a decision on timing for Sukuk issuance.
  • Perform monthly/periodic data collation from Bloomberg Terminal and other financial sources/newsletters to support the division in financing market update, assessment of WACC for the Group and other peer analysis/market trends.

  • RAM, Moody’s, Credit Analyst
  • Quarterly and annual meetings/rating reviews with fixed income analysts and rating agencies.
  • Monitor ongoing compliance of MAHB Sukuk Programme and communication with rating agency and credit analyst.
  • Banks
  • All Local and Foreign Banks with facilities offered to MAHB Group
  • Monitor ongoing compliance of banking interim review on credit facilities.
  • Communication with Banks on different services undertaken, reconciliation of records, coordination for system alignment, paperwork and charges of facilities.
  • Advisers/Investment Banks
  • Joint Lead Arranger, Shariah Advisers, Facility Agents, Trustees, Joint Lead Manager
  • Monitor ongoing documentation, for the new Sukuk Programme and New Sukuk Issuance.
  • Communication with all advisers on delivery of work, timeline, meetings & minutes, the status of documents lodgement, and execution of reviewed documents.

  • Good financial analysis and modeling skills with good attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of corporate finance and financial analysis work demonstrated through relevant work experience.
  • Possess good presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate financial transactions.
  • Good business sense and interpersonal skills with excellent oral and written English skills. 
  • Self-driven, strong determination, able to work fast and under pressure.
  • Possess positive attitude, willingness to learn, and able to work as a team.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint applications will be added advantage.

Relevant Industries


  • Degree holder with minimum CGPA 3.0 and minimum 1 year relevant experience in the areas of corporate finance, auditing, financial advisory, financial analysis, banking or financial accounting.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.


  • Recognised Degree in Accounting / Finance/ Financial Engineering/Financial Modelling.
  • Certification or candidacy in the following Professional Qualification (ICAEW/ACCA/CPA/CFA) will be an added advantage.
