Job Description

POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

• Strategize, execute and monitor all improvement projects with regard to system enhancement until completion.
• Monitor, strategize and review spare parts movement and plan for parts stocking as well SLA and other deliverables as per contracts (Spare Parts Supply & 3rd Level Support).
• Ensuring vendor(s) fulfil obligation in contract statement using appropriate tools and analysis to ensure system constant serviceability as well as operational efficiency and cost optimization.

ESSENTIAL POSITION SUMMARY

• Adhere with Company’s policies, procedures, guidelines, local/international regulations and legislations, quality management system, EMS, OHSAS, Green Globe 21 and any other certifications
• Ensure completion of PPM works by vendor based on agreed schedule and as per standard required.
• Monitor and ensure completion of Action Memo (ACM) data entry complete with all relevant data and work completion.
• Check, approve and comment if needed on Maintenance Instruction produced by vendor for daily maintenance works.
• Compile and establish Service Level Agreement (SLA) Report monthly, ensure no discrepencies in report submitted by vendor.
• Prepare data for any mitigation plan together with O&M team for possible engineering solutions to repetitive failures and all other problems that adversely affect airport facilities.
• Perform maintainability prediction calculation and demonstration based on approved planned works.
• Establish periodical measurement procedures and parameters of selective critical equipment. 
• Set a benchmark for equipment performance criteria. 
• Develop standard requirement/specification for any parts/asset replacement. 
• Assist in feasibility study and CBA analysis for any maintenance approach or asset replacement.

Key Challenges

• Assist Senior Executive/Manager on maintenance requirements and to inform/report on failures especially on major breakdown.
• Monitor and analyze system performance maintenance.
• To fullfil request and needs of operation from noth internal and stakeholders (airline, authorities) with regards to system.

Skills

• In depth knowledge in maintenance management, contract management, quality management system & SAP
• Good writing, communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, result driven and resourceful
• Able to work independently with mininum supervision
• Able to represent Manager or Senior Executive in any meeting if needed.
• A team player who can build positive relation at all levels.  

Relevant Industries

Internal        

• Degree holder in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering 
• Registered with Board Engineer Malaysia   
• Must achieve and maintain the following performance rating for two (2) consecutive years of at least Exceptional / A or Outstanding / B; and Minimum Meet Expectations / C
• The employee must not be subjected to disciplinary punishments except for disciplinary counseling, caution, reminder & warning for the past 36 consecutive months immediately preceding the promotion
   

External        

• Degree holder in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic with at least 1 year relevant working experience        
• Registered with Board Engineer Malaysia   

Education

Internal        

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• Registered with Board Engineer Malaysia                                                                                                                                                                                             

External        

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering Minimum CGPA of  3.0        
• Registered with Board Engineer Malaysia
