Job Description
POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY
- Support the baggage operation and closely coordinate with Baggage Stakeholder. Advise Senior Executive to enhance BHS Operation using appropriate tools and best practices.
- Purely Monitor Baggage Tub Movement and provide the necessary report to BHS Management.
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS
- Liason to the Airport Stakeholder related to Baggage Handling System
- Ensure Baggage Area is well organized and clean. Closely working with Ground Handler to solve day to day operation issue
- Conduct random site inspection and report to BHS Management accordingly.
- Adhere with Company’s policies, procedures, guidelines, local/international regulations and legislations, quality management system, EMS, OHSAS, Green Globe 21 and any other certifications.
- Plan, prepare and implement the unit yearly budget (OPEX and CAPEX).
- Keep abreast of new technology in order to properly plan for future enhancement and efficiency improvement of the assigned airport system and facilitiesAssist on the special projects in order to ensure the assigned airport system and facilities requirements are properly addressed.
- Implement the project and contract management.
- Analyze technical and financial data and recommends for continuous improvement action
Key Challenges
- To follow up and resolve all BHS operational issues between internal stakeholder Appoint Contractor.
- Closely monitor the Control Center Room (CCR) staff handled by the BHS Contractor
- Lack of management skill of BHS Contractor Staff
- To keep abreast with BHS related latest technology and best practices in the industry
- People competency and the task to develop people
Skills
- Monitor and execution of BHS operation related plan and activities
- Optimization of resources within BHS operational plans and activities
- Enforcement on the utilization of IT tools.
- Respond to customer complaint
- Performance review of direct report staffs
- Approval of leave application of direct report staffs
- Perform PMS review of direct report staff.
- Making recommendations to Senior Executive on all aspects of the BHS opeartion
- Making recommendations to Senior Executive on BHS operational budget within the allocated approved budget.
Relevant Industries
-Bachelor Degree in Engineering Mechanical with minimum 1 year relevant working experience.
- Must achieve and maintain the following performance rating for two (2) consecutive years of at least Exceptional / A or Outstanding / B; and Minimum Meet Expectations / C
- The employee must not be subjected to disciplinary punishments except for disciplinary counselling, caution, reminder & warning for the past 36 consecutive months immediately preceding the promotion Internal
External
- Minimum 2 years relevant working experience in Executive role.

- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
External
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum CGPA of 3.0 and above.
