Job Description

POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

• To monitor and oversee warehouse operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient execution of all operational activities. The role is responsible for coordinating inventory management, supporting warehouse staff, and maintaining accurate records to facilitate timely and organized movement of goods.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

Inventory Verification & Stock Control

• Perform verification of supplier invoices, delivery orders, and goods receipts to ensure accuracy before dispatch to merchandising.
• Execute inventory planning, control measures, and monitoring to maintain sufficient stock levels supporting retail operations.
• Lead and supervise stock-taking activities, providing guidance to the team in reporting and reconciliation.

Budget & Purchase Control

• Assist in preparation of departmental budgets and monitor budget usage.
• Review and control Purchase Requisitions (PRs), including verification of GL account allocation and alignment with department needs.Regulatory Compliance & Liaison
• Liaise with Customs and relevant authorities to ensure adherence to all rules and regulations.
• Advise staff on quota applications and maintain close working relationships with Customs to ensure
  smooth workflow.

Reporting & Documentation

• Ensure timely and accurate documentation of inventory and purchase-related records.
• Provide necessary reports to department heads to support decision-making and operational efficiency.

Other Responsibilities

• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the immediate superior

Key Challenges

• Developing and educating warehouse team on the importance of proper control of document and
  understanding the standard policies and procedures.
• Educating the supervisors on the company objectives, mission and vision

Skills

• Possess good character, analytical, meticulous, process driven, inter personnel skill, strong management and ability to write good report writing.
