POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

Assist on technical inspection and verification of the work quality based on contract drawings and specifications.  

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• Perform technical inspection and verification of the quality of work during construction and post-construction.
• Arrange for defect rectification works to be carried out during DLP or within the stipulated time frame.
• Assist on technical inspection and support to handle client complaints relating to defects, identifying the nature and root causes of such defects before and during DLP.
• Ensure clear timely liaison with the relevant personnel involved in the inspection, verification, rectification works engaged by company to ensure effective execution of job briefs.
• Accountable to comply to the approved QMS, occupational safety, health and environment standards towards meeting clients' expectations and fulfilling regulatory requirements.
• Undertake any other tasks and assignments as directed by Management

Relevant Industries

Internal

• Diploma with minimum 2 years relevant experience in Executive role OR
• Certificate/STPM with minimum 3 years relevant experience in Executive role OR
• SPM with minimum 5 years relevant experience in Executive role 
• Must achieve and maintain the following performance rating for two (2) consecutive years of at least
  • Exceptional / A or Outstanding / B; and
  • Minimum Meet Expectations / C
• The employee must not be subjected to disciplinary punishments except for disciplinary counselling, caution, reminder & warning for the past 36 consecutive months immediately preceding the promotion

Relevant Industries

External

• Degree with CGPA > 3.0 and minimum 3 years relevant experience 

Education

External

• Recognised Degree in Civil Engineering/ Building/ Construction or equivalent
