Job Description

POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

Assist on technical aspects of projects including reviewing design, authorities liaison, construction monitoring and contract administration.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• Ensure project execution follows the project scope; within specified quality, time and cost.
• Perform other related project as directed by Superior or Management from time to time.
• Coordinate with relevant parties i.e. clients; stakeholders; local authority and etc. in facilitating projects and airport requirements.
• Ensure project requirements are met and in line with client needs and airport requirements.
• To assist in reviewing technical documentation for tendering purposes
• To gather information, analyzing and assist superior in making proposal based on the engineering best practice or project/condition requirement for new and rehabilitation works.
• To assist superior to define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with management and stakeholders.
• To assist in administrating the project deliverables in order to meet target and objectives

Key Challenges

• To ensure the undertaken projects are completed within the predetermined time, cost and quality concurrently with any applicable changes, requests and requirements.
• To ensure project planning and coordination will not disrupt airport operation especially in dealing with live airport projects.

Skills

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of working with diverse teams.

• Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to identifying and resolving project issues.

• Technical Understanding: Strong understanding of mechanical or electrical systems and other related processes.

Relevant Industries

External        

• Preferably registered with Board Engineering Malaysia
• Minimum 2-3 years relevant working experience in related field

Education

External        

• Recognised Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
