Job Description
POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY
To perform IT application support and maintenance services for appointed for high system serviceability.
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS
- To ensure availability and serviceability of supported system for high performance.
- To effectively troubleshoot and rectify problems of the supported system.
- To be available on standby as and when required.
- To contribute in problem management and improvement program for the identified system’s problem.
- To assist on system performance analysis for continuous improvement and problem prevention.
- Involve with handover process for the support acceptance.
- Understand the business processes and design of appointed system, its configuration and the principle of operations of all hardware and software modules.
- Entertain ad-hoc assignment instructed by superior on system activity.
- To identify areas where supported system can be improved or upgraded.
- To involve in requirement identification and analysis upon receiving request for change or new requirement of supported system.
- To adhere in maintaining good teamwork and personal relationship in unit and all IT Division.
Key Challenges
- To ensure the systems are serviceable as expected by the users.
- To deliver solution and resolve reported problem on time according to service level objective.
Skills
- A team player with minimum supervision
- Programming Skill is an advantage
Education
EXTERNAL
- Diploma preferably with specialization in IT or equivalent
Relevant Industries
EXTERNAL
- Diploma with at least 1 year experience.
- CGPA > 2.8
