Job Description

POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

To implement the strategic goals and objectives of operation and maintenance contract of Electrical System and services toward a high-quality performance and customer oriented. To supervise the maintenance and operation activities, target revenue, budgetary, resources and its contract goals to support company’s objective by promoting a good business practices and ISO 9001/ISO14001/OHSAS 18001 Integrated Management System (IMS) standard practices.

 

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

  • Implement strategic operation and maintenance of Electrical Systems for KLCC O&M Comprehensive Contracts of Petronas Twin Towers, Menara 3, Exxonmobil, Common Facilities, Common Estate, Masjid Asy-Syakirin, Digital Collaboration Centre and Menara Permata Sapura Buildings in order to meet the respective client’s expectations.
  • Prepare and monitor yearly departmental budget for spare parts, maintenance cost, resources (manpower and tools), and additional project cost and to ensure within approved budget allocation.
  • Manage and monitor resources such as manpower, tools, equipment and transportation in order to achieve competent staff and meet O&M objective.
  • Plan, implement and monitor O&M activities including Planned Preventive Maintenance, Condition Base Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance, Corrective and Breakdown Maintenance in order to upkeep equipment performance and system technical availability.
  • Implement and monitor Standard Operation Procedures and Work Instructions in line with Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) in order to achieve high quality services and continual improvement as per ISO 9001/ISO14001/OHSAS 18001 Integrated Management System (IMS).
  • Monitor O&M and additional project claim in order to achieve departmental monthly and yearly target revenue.
  • Motivates subordinates in order to achieve the strategic departmental goals and objectives through HPM and KPIs.

Key Challenges

  • Equipment lifespan, obseletedity and escalating spare parts replacement cost play a major impact to the overall O&M cost.
  • Adopting the best practice technique to be more cost effective and technically efficient in the O&M services.
  • Cost optimization for facilities management contracts.
  • Secure additional works and remain competitive in the market.
  • Maintain high staff motivation and moral at all time.

Skills

  • Minimum 10 years working experience in Executive role in Project/Maintenance of Electrical System.
  • Knowledge in Operation and maintenance of Electrical System in Airports Environment are added advantage.

Relevant Industries

  • Registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia (Electrical).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) in Electrical (Power).
  • Possession of the “Ir.” title will be an added advantage.

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering
