Job Description
Position General Summary
- Lead the development and manage centralized safety data, performance dashboards, and coordinate mid-level regulatory and administrative compliance across the Group to support the Governance & Assurance pillar.

Essential Position Functions
1. Occupational Health & Hygiene Management
- Develop and implement the Group Occupational Health & Hygiene programme across MAHB and its subsidiaries.
- Conduct health risk assessments to identify and control biological, chemical, physical and ergonomic hazards.
- Monitor workplace health programmes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
2. Exposure Control & Workplace Health
- Develop and implement controls to reduce employee exposure to workplace hazards such as noise, dust, chemicals, vibration and heat stress.
- Review new projects, equipment and workplace changes to ensure health risks are considered during planning and implementation.
- Recommend practical solutions to improve workplace health and hygiene.
3. Employee Wellbeing & Fitness for Duty
- Manage the Fitness for Duty programme to ensure employees are physically and mentally fit to perform their work safely.
- Oversee medical surveillance, CHRA requirements and other occupational health programmes.
- Support initiatives that promote employee wellbeing, mental health and psychological safety.
4. Emergency Health Response & Compliance
- Coordinate occupational health support during workplace incidents and medical emergencies.
- Work closely with relevant departments, healthcare providers and regulatory authorities on occupational health matters.
- Monitor compliance with occupational health legislation and recommend improvements where necessary.
Key Challenges
Skills
- Good knowledge of Chemical Health Risk Assessment (CHRA), medical surveillance and occupational health programmes.
- Familiar with DOSH regulations and occupational health requirements.
- Good analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science or a related discipline.
Registration as a Hygiene Technician or DOSH Competent Person is an added advantage.
Relevant Industries
- Minimum 5 years of experience in occupational health, industrial hygiene, exposure control or workplace health management.
- Experience in aviation, construction or other high-risk industries is preferred.
