Job Description
POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY
- Responsible for leading and managing end-user computing (EUC) and endpoint services across Malaysia Airports, ensuring stable, secure, and efficient delivery of workplace technology services in a fast-paced airport operational environment. This position is responsible for the coordination, implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of overall desktop functions, endpoint services, and related support operations, including supervisory responsibilities for managing support staff and vendors. The role is also responsible for driving endpoint technology standardization, enhancing user experience, supporting operational continuity, and providing consultation on workplace technology evolution aligned with business and operational requirements.
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS
- To manage IT computing devices, peripherals, and related maintenance services for systems implemented throughout Malaysia Airports.
- To perform administration and governance for enterprise desktop, endpoint, and application management including configuration, version maintenance, security, patching, and access delegation.
- To manage and administer endpoint access rights, shared services, and workplace technology platforms including SharePoint and file services.
- To oversee the implementation, administration, operation, and continuous improvement of endpoint security technologies and endpoint management solutions.
- To manage and maintain the inventory, lifecycle, compliance, and operational readiness of IT computing devices and peripherals throughout Malaysia Airports.
- To lead endpoint technology refresh, deployment, replacement planning, and standardization initiatives aligned with operational and business requirements.
- To provide consultation and recommendations relating to end-user computing technologies, digital workplace solutions, and endpoint modernization initiatives.
- To identify opportunities for service improvement, automation, endpoint visibility, telemetry, analytics, and operational optimization within the EUC environment.
- To be responsible for planning, monitoring, and controlling the unit budget and operational resources.
- To act as the management focal point for all matters relating to End User Computing (EUC) and Endpoint Services operations.
- To ensure compliance with ISO9000 procedures, cybersecurity requirements, internal governance, and airport operational standards.
- To keep updated on the latest endpoint technologies, workplace computing trends, and cybersecurity developments relevant to enterprise operations.
- To perform duties with due diligence and professional care in accordance with professional standards, enterprise governance, and industry best practices.

- Candidates must be able to work independently in a fast-paced operational environment. Characteristics of importance include customer service orientation, problem solving, communication skills, analytical thinking, leadership capability, and the ability to interpret business and operational requirements.
- Strong knowledge and experience in IT operations, endpoint support, workplace technology services, and operational service delivery.
- Good understanding of endpoint technologies, cybersecurity practices, endpoint lifecycle management, and enterprise support operations.
- Ability to manage stakeholders, vendors, operational priorities, and continuous service improvement initiatives.

INTERNAL
- Degree/ Diploma/ Certificate in preferably with specialization in Computer Science / IT related discipline.
- Master degree would be an added advantage

Relevant Industries
EXTERNAL
- Degree with minimum 5 years relevant experience in End User Computing (EUC), Endpoint Services, IT Operations, or related infrastructure environment.
- Experience managing enterprise end-user computing (EUC), endpoint operations, or workplace technology services within a medium to large enterprise environment.
- Exposure to endpoint security, endpoint management platforms, IT service management (ITSM), and operational support environments would be an added advantage.
- Experience supporting mission-critical or operational environments is preferred.
