Job Description

POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

Develop a variety of internal facing communication materials to ensure that they are aligned to the company message house, brand identity, and business strategy to enhance positive perception towards the company.

 

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

  • Research, write, rewrite and edit a variety of materials for document development such as speeches, collaterals, marketing or advertising copy, presentations, etc.

  • Edit text or copy for form, length, accuracy, consistency and conciseness

  • Collaborate with internal and external parties at all levels for accuracy and completeness of information, as well as to ensure engaging content

  • Lead, manage and coordinate the internal communication initiatives from planning procurement to delivery

  • Serve as a reference point for important company information

  • Emcee (including script development) any internal or external events as and when required

  • Execute any other projects as directed by management or superior

  • Strategise and coordinate content relevancy according to the brand of the company such as website, publications, collaterals etc.

  • Work closely with internal teams to support all divisions and subsidiaries

  • Keep to date with market trends and new developments utilising information for business communications improvement

  • Possessing a holistic view of all company initiatives at HQ and airport level for the purpose of accurate, timely and engaging communications

  • Breaking down cross functional barriers within the organisation to achieve desired outcomes

  • Keeping pace with the development in communications technology

  • Access to timely information and turning information into meaningful communications

Skills

  • Experience in planning, preparation and coordination of internal communication activities for the Company

  • Experience in generating new ideas in engaging with the employees especially in brand culture initiatives

  • Creative and strategic thinking about creating value to the brand and enhancing marketing activities. Able to design communication campaigns and develop communication strategy

  • Able to deal and communicate with stakeholders internal and external

  • Good communication skills and enjoy working with people

  • A knowledge of the surrounding environment and understanding about the industry

  • Able to work even in pressured situation

Education

EXTERNAL

  • Degree Certificate preferably with specialization in Business, Marketing, Mass Communications, Advertising/Journalism or equivalent.
  • Master Degree would be an added advantage.

Relevant Industries

EXTERNAL

  • Degree with CGPA > 3.0 and minimum 3 year relevant experience.
