POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

Execute planning on the operation of plantation, administration and finance related matters at Estate in order to support MAAH’s business activities.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• Perform daily task in planning overall estate operations i.e. harvesting/upkeep, preparation of work programmes, schedule of works and execution of works in accordance to the programmes and company policy by area assigned.
• Supervise, monitoring and measuring of other estate operations such as  infrastructure works i.e. harvesters’ paths/road, bridges, drainage and foot bridges.
• Ensure good water management is implemented.
• Implement treatment at disturbed soil areas as per programmed (if applicable).
• Perform Vendor Management as per Procurement Procedures.
• Monitor and inspect  workers’ quarters in term of cleanliness, basic facilities i.e water & electricity supply etc.
• Provide financial and progress report of the area assigned.
• Operational responsibility as and when instructed by the Management.
• Involve in duty assign for certification and group company's programme as follows:
  • Quality Management System of ISO: 9001 2008.
  • Occupational, Safety and Health matters.
  • LEAN Management either Practitioner etc.
  • Store and Ramp Management.
  • Security Aspects of the area assigned within Ladang KLIA.
     

Key Challenges

• Supervise & manage foreign workers who are not aware of the company's terms and regulations of works, procedure, statutory requirement etc.
• Monitoring and measurement of process; analytical, knowledge, systematic approach and integrity are vital components to achieve good results.

Skills

• Strong technical knowledge on plantation/landscape and other related activities.
• Independent and strong communication background with related government bodies.
• Knowledge in basic accounting, labor law and Immigration Act.
• Must be computer literate.
• Physically fit for field work.

Relevant Industries

Degree with CGPA > 3.0 and minimum 3 year relevant experience.

Education

Degree preferably Plantation Management / Agriculture or equivalent
