Job Description
POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY
Oversee daily airports operations in ensuring adherence to SOPs and regulatory standard, liaise with regulatory bodies and managing relationship with stakeholders
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS
- Liaise with the regulatory body and other agencies on matters concerning the daily airport operations including the dissemination of information as required by the regulatory body.
- Compile, analyze and prepare reports for the management on the periodic basis for Airport Status Report, and monthly Complaint report of all airports.
- Assist in overall operations activities at airports, provide remedial measures to problems and crises, monitor crisis management plans, protocols for the company in terms of airport operations including issues/ complaint from customers’ forum (RST/FACILITATION MEETING/ASM/HIRARC/ALOSP), analyze report of accident, incident and bird strikes
- Monitor the application and implementation of the approved operating budget for operation division.
- Ensure all airports submit the passenger handling coordination report, AFRS and AVSEC monthly report, and coordinate with other units for action.
- Ensure the implementation of SOP at the airports/SOP development and enhancement based on current airports operations needs and requirements
- Assist in coordinating and facilitating the aerodrome and SMS certification, also with the airlines, aircraft operators, ground handlers and airports’ stakeholders.
- Provide guidance, assist and monitor Day-to-day operational activities at 21 Airports and 18 Stolport to ensure compliance with the standards and Recommended Practices (SARP’s) and monitor daily Airport Status Reports.
- Assist in providing inputs for airport development pertaining on operations.
- Airlines, aircraft operators and stakeholders' relations. Airline’s relation related with airport operations issue
- AFRS and AVSEC Liaison (MOU RELA/Bomba Bantuan/Airport Security Matters)
- Wildlife data management

- Posses Good Communication, interpersonal and consultative skill
- Good Supervisory skill
- Ability to analyze data and provide related recommendation
- Good in written and spoken of Bahasa Malaysia and English, and must be computer literate.
- Customer service oriented with pleasant personality.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Relevant Industries
- Degree with CGPA > 3.0 and minimum 3 years relevant experience
Education
External
- Degree in any discipline, preferably in Airport Operations Management
