POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

To provide technical expertise on project management; construction, tender, basic of value engineeing and project administration works.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• To translate the Clients brief requirement into comprehensive Needs Statement and Technical requirement for tendering purpose.
• To gather information, analyzing and make proposal based on the engineeing best practice or project/condition requirement for new and rehabilitation works.
• To assist manager to define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with management and stakeholders.
• To manage and assist Manager in administering the project deliverables in order to meet target and objectives.
• To assist manager in executing the PMO function in MAHB.
• To perform other related project administration as directed by Superior or management from time to time.
• To coordinate with relevant parties, ie stakeholders, clients, local authority and etc. in facilitating projects and airport requirments.
• To ensure project requirments are met amd in line with client needs and airport requirements

Key Challenges

• Translating Conventional Construction Contract, Design & Built Contract, Construction Management, Consultant requirement or mixture of two of the above to bring good value to the client/company.
• Dealing and coordinating with clients, stakeholder, authority and other units or subsidiaries in gathering information/data.
• To get and capture sufficient data in copnstraint time in which most data are not translated in document manner.
• Time contraints as to meet the target date for tendering purpose and construction period.
• Meeting project requirments ad at the same time to satisfy clients, airportoperational and authority requirements.
• To meet up with latest engineering practice challenges especially airport environment which requires special designs differ from other insudtry.
• To ensure project planning will not disrupt airport operation especially in dealing with live airport projects.

Skills

• Experience in project management with exposure in managing project initiation, planning and execution.
• Project and Contract Management.
• Well verse in Value Engineering.
• Well verse in Airport Operational Procedures.
• Project Administration works.
• Well verse in Project management tools and procedures i.e. Microsoft Project; Presentation; Excel, Autocad 2016 etc.

Education

• Degree in Architecture 

Relevant Industries

Unique Requirement

• Registered with LAM Graduate Architect

External

• Degree with CGPA > 3.0 and minimum 3 years experience in Project Management with exposure in managing technical requirements and best practice in building construction. Candidate with site experience as Resident Architect (RA) are welcome to apply.
