Job Description

POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

Lead implement strategic investor relations program designed to effectively communicate the Group’s business strategies and financial performance consistently to the investment community with the ultimate objective to gain positive market perception and ultimately reflect MAHB Group’s fair value on its share price. To provide financial advisory on strategic and financial services with focus to increase company value 

 

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

  • Develop and maintain the Group's investor relations strategies and direction
  • Being the primary point of contact for the investment community - communicate and educate investment community (shareholder, financial analyst, rating agencies and regulators) on behalf of the Group, and provide feedback to management regarding the investment community's perception of the Company
  • To conduct presentation at analyst briefings and investor conferences
  • Monitor operational changes through on-going discussion with Group's senior management and develop investor relations messages based on these changes
  • Work closely with divisional leadership team to develop or recommend business strategies to enhance organizational performance.
  • Vet through releases of company announcements to ensure compliance with Bursa Listing Requirements and other statutory requirements.
  • Formulate new corporate strategies and proposals for the Group to enhance Shareholder Value.
  • Keeping abreast of new developments and trends overseas on the airport business model; and make recommendations for improvements to the Group.
  • Perform peer benchmarking & competitive analysis - keep abreast of new developments and trends in global airport business model and perform comprehensive competitive analysis, including financial metrics, differentiation and competitor strategies
  •  Evaluate and implement new corporate exercises such as mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, fundraising, new concessions and overseas investments

Skills

  • Have in-depth financial analysis as well as good writing skills.                                                                    
  • Good business sense and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate financial transactions.                                                
  • Sound knowledge of investor relations work demonstrated through relevant work experience.
  • Self-driven, strong determination and able to work under pressure.                                               
  • Excellent oral and written English Skills with good attention to detail. 

Relevant Industries

Unique Requirement

  • Professional Qualification (ICAA,  ICAEW, CPA, ACCA, CIMA or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)


 

External

  • Degree holder with a minimum 7 years relevant experience.

Education

External

  • Recognised Degree in Accounting/Finance/Banking 
  • Master degree would be an added advantage
