Job Description

POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

To ensure project implementation comply with all standards

 

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

  • Managing day-to day performance for entire sub units
  • Given the full authority as Safety Management Representative for all development
  • Provide periodic report on the safety issue / incident occur in Safety monthly meeting
  • Ensure that the PMO quality plan is implemented by other departments and all sub units
  • Advise the superior on project risk, green requirement, health, safety, security, and environmental legal legislation
  • Responsible for project monitoring and prepare progress report start from inception to completion stage
  • Liaise, manage and co-ordinate with external consultancy firms i.e architects, town planners, interior designer, quantity surveyor, engineers, contractors and off-site staff to ensure projects are delivered successfully
  • To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior
  • Ensure elements of project governance framework as below:
    • Project susccess and deliverable acceptance criteria
    • Process to identify, escalate, and resolve issues that arise during the projects
    • Relationship among the project team, organizational groups, and external stakeholders
    • Preject organizational chart that identifies project roles
    • Processes and procedures for the communication of information
    • Project decision-making processes
    • Guidelines for aligning project governance and organizational strategy
    • Project life cycle approach
    • Process for stage gate or phase reviews
    • Process for review and approval for changes to budget, scope, quality, and shcedule which the authority of the project manager
    • Process to align internal stakeholders with project process requirements

Skills

  • Ability to drive for results with strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Positive attitude and able to work under pressure
  • Experience in leading local or international Project Governance is an added advantage.

Relevant Industries

Unique Requirement

  • Registered with PMI / QSHE

 

External

  • Degree holder with minimum 3.0 CGPA with minimum 7 years relevant experience.

Education

External

  • Degree preferably with specialization in Building Services/ Project Management/ Construction
