POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

Supervise and monitor site activities on overall compliance as well as quality control.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• Ensure contract compliance by the contractor, such as conducting tests and reporting deficiencies to SE/Engineer
• Witness testing was conducted at site
• Attend RFI/Carry out an inspection before starting work and after completion
• Verify daily work reports by contractor
• Carry out joint inspection and joint measurement with a contractor
• Coordinate with Operations at the site on NOTAM request
• Coordinate with Operations for closing and opening of the working area
• Communicate with contractor/operations at the working level
• Log daily activities report
• Provide reports on all on-site matters, including third-party inspections, progress, safety concerns, etc
•  Liaising with working stakeholders i.e ASD, ground handlers, airlines, FOC on pavement maintenance-related matters
• Performs other related tasks and duties as assigned

Key Challenges

• Require good communication skills, organizing and analytical skills, knowledge, creativity and change management.
• Increase of maintenance cost, staff cost and budget constraint for maintenance with high system service availability and reliability.
• Knowledgeable in Word Class Maintenance Concept.
• Managing external stakeholders i.e., Airline Operators, Groundhandlers, CAAM

Skills

• Knowledgeable in pavement maintenance work preferably airport pavement maintenance works
• Posses updated knowledge in the latest technology in airport facilities, World Class Maintenance and project management
• Good working knowledge in contract management i.e construction, legal and value engineering
• Working knowledge in managing multiple vendors and contractors
• Good writing and communication skills
• Innovative, visionary, good coordination skills, hardworking, have analytical and strategic thinking, able to work independently, multitasking

Relevant Industries

Internal

• A minimum of 5 years for certificates with working experience in the airport environment, preferably in operation and maintenance (O&M) or project management
• Must achieve and maintain the following performance rating for two (2) consecutive years of at least Exceptional / A or Outstanding / B; and Minimum Meet Expectations / C
• The employee must not be subjected to disciplinary punishments except for disciplinary counseling, caution, reminder & warning for the past 36 consecutive months immediately preceding the promotion

External

• Diploma holder with minimum of 1 year  working experience in the airport environment
• Preferably in operation and maintenance (O&M) or road/infrastructure construction
