POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

Plan, manage and monitor the operation and maintenance works and ensuring the works done are accordingly to the specified maintenance standards, best practices and quality so as to ensure the serviceability and reliability of facilities as well as operational efficiency and cost optimization.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• Implement effective related operation and maintenance work on BHS/SS of related system concerned to comprehensively support airport operations system according to technical and operational standard.
• To analyse and monitor the BHS Capability performance.
• Hands-on skills in facilities maintenance
• Hands-on experience in Preventive Maintenance, Routine and Breakdown Maintenance work
• Ability to trouble-shoot electrical / mechanical problems
• To complete task in timely and fast manner
• Respond the complaint within 10 minutes
• Language proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude to work, willingness to learn, share and take instructions
• Good interpersonal skill to communicate with various client
• Able to work under minimum supervision
• Willing to work depending on head of department
• Computer literate
• Assist Technical Officer  in Shift work matters
• Assist Technical Officer Spare-parts controllers matters
• Overall execution of PPM activities( PLC, Electrical Panel 3 Months Check, Scanner Check, Sorter Photo Sensor Check, Injection / Take Away Sensor Check, Sensor Cleaning, Tunnel Data Tracking Check, PPI Check For Tunnel and Check-in Function Check, etc.) and verify the check sheet after daily activity (PPM)  completed  by technician and updated to Technical Officer 
• To support operation (CCR) during any system crisis and emergency situation.
• To support Maintenance related matters as and when required

• Fully utilize IT tools i.e. SAP, CMMS.
• Lack of skill at airports; people competency and people development.
• Keeps abreast with the latest technology and best practices in the industries.

Relevant Industries

Internal

• 1 year relevant working experience intechnician role.
• Must achieve and maintain the following performance rating for two (2) consecutive years of at least Exceptional / A or Outstanding / B; and Minimum Meet Expectations / C
• The employee must not be subjected to disciplinary punishments except for disciplinary counselling, caution, reminder & warning for the past 36 consecutive months immediately preceding the promotio

External

• Minimum 2 years relevant working experience.     

Unique Requirement   

• Preferably Male technician, able to communicate clearly and fluently in good manners.                                   

Education

Internal

• SPM / SPM(V) with POLYTECHNIC / MLVK / SKM / Certificate in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic) or
• Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic)

External

• Diploma in Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical Engineering 
• Minimum CGPA of 2.8 and above.
