POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

• To be responsible to develop or construct software program based on the detail system specification, design, and requirement. Their task is to develop and deliver the product with high quality exceeding development standard and meeting information security guideline. They must also ensure the system usability and user experience is at optimum level.        

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• Adhere to the company standardized applications development lifecycle methodology and coding standards. 
• Keep the system/deliverables in scope with the business requirements. 
• Good knowledge in software development lifecycle and various project management techniques. 
• Evaluating the program's effectiveness to increasing program operating efficiency and adapting to new requirements, as necessary. 
• Ensure development task is complete within the timeframe given. 
• Consulting manuals, periodicals, and technical reports to learn new ways to develop programs and maintain existing skills and knowledge. 
• Conduct/lead through frequent code reviews, application testing and unit testing to increase program operating efficiency and adapting to new requirement, as necessary. 
• Ensure all process, work, documentation, and reporting are adhere to the ISO standards and update relevant documents and centralize development platform on all executed changes in a timely manner. 
• Document programming problems and resolutions for future reference. 
• To assist the SQC to produce with operational documentation. 
• To provide 3rd level technical/functional software support and maintenance. 
• Involve in trouble-shooting, optimizing, and fine-tuning of the applications. 
• Maintaining, tuning, and repairing applications; performing preventive maintenance activities providing user support. 
• Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed. 
• Create and encourage a positive team environment and coordinate work efforts of each team members in cohesive fashion. 
• May make suggestions or offer alternative resolutions for software problems or enhancements. 
• Participates in the development of software user manuals to support the ongoing use and application of the software. 
• May demonstrate software to others to introduce them to new or enhanced applications. 
• Provide direction and support and assists in the training of less experienced software development staff to orient them and increase their understanding of more complex software development. 
• May act as a team leader on less complex projects. 
• Performs other duties as assigned or apparent.

Unique Requirement

• Strong analytical and programming capabilities with experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies from requirements analysis and system design through development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Strong experience in C/C++, VC++, C#, MS.NET, J2EE, Java, client/web based and mobile application development, with familiarity in open-source technologies.
• Have knowledge and hands-on experience with Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL and other relational database technologies, including database design, development, integration, and optimization. 
• Familiar with Airport Systems environment.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree preferably with specialization in Computer Science/Information Technology.

Relevant Industries

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or any related field.
